Team Mentality
“We win together. We lose together. We advocate for the individual and the whole.”
This line is from our core values statement and we believe it whole-heartedly. As in any organization, there are days one of us might be struggling and someone helps out and other days when that same person is the one pitching in to help. We want this business to succeed, but we also want the community we have roots in and the community we are building in Free Parking to thrive.
You might say that we, the Free Parking staff, are playing a real-life cooperative board game—sharing resources, strategizing together to reach our goals of joy, fun, and transformation. We love winning a game, of course, but there’s something special about working together and more importantly, working together with you our guests.
Our hope in a complex world is to be a place of respite—like the Free Parking space on the Monopoly board—and also a place of connection and change. Just as a good game with good people can change us, we hope that a good place with good people can change the world.

Play Anomia
Anomia is a party game that proves your brain is faster than you think - or not! The concept is simple: draw a card, reveal a symbol, and if it matches another player’s symbol, you’re in a race to shout out something from their card’s category (like “pasta” or “video game”). Sounds easy until the pressure kicks in, and suddenly you can’t even think of a single fruit. Anomia is perfect for groups of 3 to 6 players that love shouting, laughing, and a little bit of friendly competition.
